• What requirements need to be fulfilled in order to participate in TaxiBeam?
  The only thing needed for the participation is an iPhone. The registration is also carried out directly with the help of the iPhone. The creation of a profile doesn’t take more than 5 minutes. A car charging cable and mount will naturally ease the handling of TaxiBeam.
• What does TaxiBeam cost?
  TaxiBeam is completely free of charge.
• Which mobile phone subscription do you recommend?
  Approximately 200 MB of data transfer will accumulate with a 10h / day and 22 days / month usage. This amount is included in most data subscriptions available. Please check the details with your mobile phone service provider.
• Which iPhone do I need?
  TaxiBeam works with every 3G or 3GS model.
• Do any liabilities/contract obligations incur?
  No, you can test and use TaxiBeam as much as you want to. The creation of a profile is free.
  In case you accept a ride you are obliged to carry it out though.
• Where from do I receive requests?
  You only receive requests from customers in your adjacencies. The request contains information on the distance to the customer, based on which you can decide whether or not you accept the ride.
• Am I the only one that receives a request or do other taxi drivers receive it as well?
  Respectively each taxi driver that is in the immediate vicinity of the customer receives a request; the first driver that accepts the ride receives the assignment.

• What do I do if the customer doesn’t show up?
  Thanks to TaxiBeam you can see at any time where the customer is located. However, the customer has the possibility to cancel the ride, in which case you’ll be informed immediately. If a customer does this very often, we will block his or her device in order to avoid this unpleasant situation for the drivers.
• How do I pay for rides (after expiry of the promotional offer)?
  Once the promotional offer is expired a message will appear and if answered with “Yes” the corresponding amount is directly charged to your account (similar to the purchase of a regular application or music in iTunes). If you don’t want to use TaxiBeam after the end of the promotional offer anymore select “No” and no costs will occur.
• How do I load TaxiBeam onto my iPhone?
  Use this link or search for „TaxiBeam Driver“ directly on your iPhone in the App Store (Attention: the application “TaxiBeam” without the “Driver” is for passengers, not for taxi drivers).
